Louise Bloomfield On Why You Absolutely Can't Miss Our Inaugural Tasmanian Accounting Masterclass

Tuesday December 20, 2016

Louise Bloomfield from Bloomfield and Associates joined Khyathi Khirbath of Legalwise Seminars to shed some light on why our Inaugural Tasmanian Accounting Masterclass can't be missed. P.S. You have to read till the end to get insights on some local Tassie chocolatiers and cider brewing gems.

Louise is the founder and owner at Bloomfield and Associates. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Fellowships in both the IPA (Institute of Public Accountants) and NTAA (National Tax Agents Association). She set up her company in 1998 due to high client demand and has grown it to become one of the most highly regarded and successful CBD- based accountancy firms in Hobart. You can meet Louise at the upcoming Inaugural Accounting Essentials Masterclass on the 24 February, 2017 in Hobart.

She says "I am very proud and excited to be asked to be the chairperson for the first Tasmanian Accounting Seminar for Legalwise!''

I attended one of their prior seminars only last year and was quite impressed with the quality of material presented, along with the knowledge and experience demonstrated by the speakers.  Since then the IPA has brought them on board as a qualified CPE materials for members and better yet I won't have to travel to attend this one!

I was also asked for some ideas regarding topics and was able to pounce on my pet subject - the way PPSR is a major game changer for doing business.  It impacts our terms of trade, and opens the way for service based providers to be considered secured creditors.  Mores to the point - its vital that anyone providing advice on asset protection understand just how PPSR has to be included in the mix for your advice NOT to fail.  The speaker  for this is Mr Greenway - a barrister from Melbourne specialising in handling PPSR cases. He has agreed to speak  on the topic - given he has lectured to the legal fraternity ensuring they are appropriately updated in this area - he really impressed me with his understanding of its practical and successful application.

Another interesting thing I love about the way this seminar has been set up - is the fact its on a Friday.  If you are on the mainland (ok that is a Tasmanian term for all you folk living on the big island!!!)  then just think you can pop down for the Friday, spend a great day with some thought provoking education - and then have Saturday and Sunday to explore our island!!  You have everything from Salamanca Market on Saturday morning, through to doing on my favourite things - going on a personal cider/ chocolate tour through the Huon Valley.  You will find amazing ciders that are mixed with Cherry juice (Pagan, Frank) and then the tougher old fashioned scrumpy style with Willies.  And chocolate?  Oh my goodness - don't think cadburys (yes there is a factory here) think real choclatiers with inspiring creations ..... (my fave is a chocolate mushroom from the Cat's Tongue Chocolatiers)

So think 1 day education - 2 day adventures!  February is our hottest month of the year - so no cardigans - you will be in for a treat :)

I do hope you consider attending - it will be great to see you here!!

Book now to hear from Louise at the upcoming Inaugural Accounting Essentials Masterclass on the 24 February, 2017.
